1. Introduction

Welcome to Signshare.org, an independent international petition platform committed to protecting freedom of expression and user privacy.
By using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform.


2. Service Description

Signshare.org allows users to:

  • Create, sign, and share petitions

  • Participate in public discussions

  • Support global advocacy campaigns

The platform is operated by Scenario.press – Libera Espressione, headquartered in Milan, Italy.


3. User-Generated Content

3.1 Intellectual Property

The petitions, comments, and materials you create remain your property.
However, by publishing them, you grant us a global, non-exclusive license to host, display, share, and promote these contents for the functioning and visibility of the platform.

3.2 Responsibilities of Petition Creators

By launching a petition, you warrant that:

  • All factual claims are accurate

  • You do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights

  • You do not promote violence, hate, or illegal activities

    • Example: A petition calling for physical harm to an individual will be immediately removed


4. Moderation & Freedom of Expression

Signshare.org defends open, independent expression.
However, we may remove content that:

  • Violates defamation or hate-speech laws

  • Incites racial or ethnic hatred

  • Promotes terrorism or violent extremism

  • Exposes sensitive personal data of third parties (e.g., addresses, phone numbers)

  • Is illegal in the jurisdiction of the user or target audience

    • Example: Holocaust denial content is blocked in Germany due to local laws

4.1 Appeals Process

If your petition is removed, you may appeal within 30 days, providing legal justification or contextual explanation.


5. Donations & Funding

Petitions cannot be used for:

  • Personal fundraising

  • Crowdfunding campaigns targeting private individuals, companies, institutions, etc.


6. Dispute Resolution

6.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Italian law.
Jurisdiction: Court of Milan.

6.2 Mandatory Arbitration

Disputes exceeding $1,000 USD must be resolved through arbitration at the Milan Chamber of Commerce.


7. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate accounts if you:

  • Create petitions falsely attributed to institutions or individuals

    • Example: “Petition on behalf of the Italian government” without authorization

  • Use bots, automated tools, or IP obfuscation to manipulate signatures

  • Repeatedly violate our moderation policies


8. No Sale of User Data

Signshare.org will never sell, transfer, or grant access to users’ emails or personal data to third parties for advertising or commercial use.
